New sermon series starts tomorrow! We will begin broadly WE ARE CHRISTIANS and progressively narrow our focus (WE ARE: REFORMED, PRESBYTERIAN, PCA, MHPC) week by week. These messages will help our long-standing members to be mindful of commitments already made, while helping those who are guests with us in worship to become better acquainted with the beliefs and practices of the church.
Our 70th Anniversary Celebration was a blessing in so many ways! We were able to reconnect with friends and family, enjoy wonderful music, eat a lot of good food, but most of all, realize the many blessings that God has given to our church family! Thank you all for the enjoyable weekend. God was moving among us and we all were blessed!
Our Vacation Bible School has been a fun time for those involved to learn that Jesus is our Friend and Savior. Jason Beverly of Child Evangelism Fellowship is our teacher. One girl indicated a decision to place her trust in Christ! VBS concludes with a cookout and program tomorrow night (Thurs. August 8). Thanks to all who participated…
Our Wednesday night Bible studies and prayer meetings in July will focus on R.C. Sproul’s studies on the parables of Christ. Dr. R.C. Sproul, chairman of Ligonier Ministries, president of Reformation Bible College, and co-pastor of Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford, Fla., has developed a DVD series on the parables which are informative and insightful.
