Remember, our annual Yard Sale is this Saturday, May 19th from 7 AM- 1 PM. It is held in our Fellowship Hall, rain or shine! You never know what you’ll find… We appreciate your help and support.
On Sunday, May 6th we’ll kick off seven weeks in the Book of Ruth. This teaching series, entitled There is a Redeemer, will remind us of God’s faithful love for His people. Ruth is the young widow who journeys to a new land out of loyalty to her mother-in-law and she finds the Lord, His provision and protection, and love along the way. Naomi is also a widow and must continue to hope in the Lord amidst great loss and grief. Boaz is the man that God uses to care for these hurting women. Come, listen on Sundays at 11 AM and join in on the discussion Wednesday nights at 6:30. You’ll be glad you did.
Take the 1st Corinthians 15 Challenge: simply read that chapter daily through next Sunday, April 15th– that’s all there is to it! Pastor Tom calls it “The Resurrection Chapter.” It stakes the entire case for Christianity on whether or not Jesus rose bodily from the dead. Read it daily and see what the Lord will do in your heart and mind!
Start your Easter off right with Palm Sunday worship tomorrow. We meet at 11 AM. The message is “Lining Up under God’s Authority.” Then, our Good Friday service begins at 6:30 PM on 3/30. We’ll feature Ezekiel 37 and talk about Resurrection in the Old Testament: BACK TO LIFE! Easter morning service is on April 1st– no foolin’! We’ll focus on Mark 16 and discuss why Jesus provides A Better Resurrection. Come worship the Suffering Servant who has risen from the dead.
Due to some potential for freezing rain this morning we will cancel Sunday School. Worship will be held at 11 AM.
Today’s message is on James 2:10-13. If you can’t get out to church, why don’t you read along with us? Pastor Tom will also be reading five psalms today: Psalm 4, 34, 64, 94, and 124. Read along with him!
Start your Sunday out right by coming to feast upon the Word of God. We’re studying the Book of James this winter: It’s better than junk food and a ballgame (or commercials) because Faith Works!
